Interactive Learning Historic Plays

ICU designed a play based on the Miami Valley Underground Railroad Story Quilt. A fun approach to learning was achieved by incorporating actual
historic characters and events with creative fictional (but possible) storyline. Costuming has been provided by private donations of materials and
clothing. Vintage clothing for costuming is an on-going project. The Goodwill or Salvation Army is worth a look. Research of time periods, hairstyles
and attitudes of the day can be interesting and educational. Plays discussing other cultures are also being developed. All ages participate in the plays.
